Stephanie Bogdanich, Molly R. Frisinger, (along with co-authors Wes Allison and Jessica Morris) live in Tacotopia - Austin, Texas. They introduced the Taco Cleanse at the 2013 Vegan Month of Food by eating tacos for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 30 days. Veganmofo.com said, "It should come as no surprise that the newsworthy, tortilla-stockpiling Taco Cleanse . . . not only tops my own list of memories, but everyone else's."
Bogdanich moved to Olympia, Washington, in 1998 to pursue her education at the Evergreen State College where she studied taco science, among other things. In 2003, she moved to Austin, Texas, where she discovered the astonishing variety of tacos and spent the next eleven years in search of the perfect taco.
Frisinger is also a committed taco advocate and educator. She believes each of us is capable of taco greatness. Frisinger is also the writer behind Lone Star Plate, the blog of vegan Texas, where she covers vegan food, lifestyles, communities, and activism from El Paso to Houston. She lives in Austin, Texas, with her husband and two cats, and she has strong opinions about chili (no beans!).
